I so have recently come to the conclusion that some time in the future I am going to attempt to become a book reviewer for a young adult book publishing company, so that basically I will be sent free books and paid to read them and respond with what I think about them. And honestly I think that sounds like heaven. Getting paid to read free books ( that I would get to keep) sounds like the best job in the world. The only problem is that first I have to practice/get good at reviewing books. Which, I guess, honestly I don't think should be very hard. A book review blog is kinda in the works as we speak/will be in the works as soon as I have more time/in 19 days when I am home from school forever and have all the time in the world to read as many books as I want.
But yeah I think a book review blog would be pretty awesome/a great way to practice writing publisher worthy reviews. When I get that up and running I will most def link it up to here, and expect to see all my friends following that one too...or I guess all my friends who like to read. =]

Hey There
Well first off:
How awesome is that?? (oh and p.s. I don't usually take lamee pictures of myself on regular basis, I'm not one of THOSE girls, but since this is a shirt I thought it would be appropriate) My newest Olan Rogers shirt came in the other day and let me tell you, it is superb. I am loving it. "It's a Monday" is probably one of my favorite lines from any of his videos (if you haven't seen his Ghost in the Stall video, it's below), and it's purple. How can you beat that?? You can't. So yeah I'm pretty dang excited about my shirt/ plan to wear it every Monday for the rest of my life. =]
Oh! And guess what else came too?! My TARDIS!/sadly not a real TARDIS, but close enough right??
Hahaha! Basically I love it with all my life! Definitely one of the greatest purchases ever. And the best part?? I got it for only $3.75 on Etsy! Bomb. And I guess I might be able to forgive you if you don't know what a TARDIS is, but only if you promise to go watch Doctor Who right now, and somehow make it through the first 8 episodes of the first series (they suck so much) and get to the rest of the show that is just the best ever! =] haha yeah... I may be a little obsessed... but that's okay right??
Well, that's basically all the exciting stuff that has happened to me... oh wait! Guess who is Employee of the Month at the Creamery??? This girl! hahaha! I know it's just the Creamery and whatever, but I am actually really excited about it! I have never been Employee of the Month at any of my other jobs, Handyman didn't have anything like that, and I have never been Counselor of the Week at camp before, so it's pretty exciting! And super nice, my last month at the Creamery I get to be it. =]
I hope everything is going awesome with you! Only 19 more days until I am home and starting the arduous task of looking for a job/saving up money for the mishh! But for now I will leave you with a little Mini Movie Monday Madness! Enjoy!
Ghost in the Stall by Olan Rogers
(here it is)
Lego House by Ed Sheeran
(yes that is Rupert Grint, no he is not singing he is just the actor in the music video, and yes this video makes me love him even more than I thought possible)
"Hero" by Enrique Iglesias in American Sign Language by Sean Berdy
(I love asl, it is so awesome!)
Hitler Finds Out He was Not Accepted into Hogwarts
(umm..some language...please forgive me for that...it's just so funny)
OK Go- Needing/Getting
(They always have the best videos ever. I am obsessed with this one)
The Doctor's Dance
(just a little snippet of why I love Doctor Who so much. I have decided this will be the dance at my wedding)
Well I hope you enjoyed those! It has been too long since I have shared my favorite videos with you! Have a great rest of your Monday! =]

30 Random Facts About Me!
Sounds awesome, right?? =] Cuz I know you guys are just DYING to know these little tidbits about my life. hahaa Actually I am just incredibly bored at the moment, and came across a 30 day blogging challenge online and just chose the most interesting day to do. And what could be more interesting than me??? kidding, kidding...but no really, brace yourself for the coming onslaught of the awesomeness that is my life in the form of 30 random (hopefully. if you already know all these things about me kudos to you/you are a creep) facts about me. =]
1. I have the upper body strength of a small new born child.
Sad, but true. Basically, I suck at anything that involves opening things, arm wrestling, or carrying loads heavier than 1 pound.
2. I am not good at word games.
I'm not gonna lie, this actually surprises me. I feel like I always thought that reading a lot would make me really good with words, but apparently. Pretty much anybody could beat me at words with friends, but for some reason despite sucking royally at it, I still love playing them. I guess I just can't accept that I'm horrible at them.
3. I have successfully finished two tubes of chap stick in the past 6 months.
Call me impossible, but I have. It has always been one of my life dreams to finish a tube of chap stick without losing it first or accidentally washing it with my laundry, or leaving it in the car, melting it. And now look at me, not only have I finished one, but TWO! Like a boss.
4. I hate milk.
I hate it with a fiery burning passion. I think I've only had about 3 glasses of milk since 4th grade. And that's only because I forced myself into drinking them cuz I got scared I was going to have osteoporosis at the age of 20 (probably will still happen). I occasionally drink chocolate milk, but lately that has been tasting too much like regular milk, so I can't even drink that... I'm thinking about looking into soy milk or almond milk actually, just so people will stop looking at me like I'm a psychopath when I eat my cereal dry... haha
5. I've been having a strange desire lately to have my head shoved into a birthday cake...
Don't ask me why... it just seems like one of those things that should happen to everybody at least once... I mean it seems like it would be fun right?? Or is that just me...?
6. I have an irrational fear of drive by shootings.
I don't really know why I'm scared of this, it's not like I grew up in the ghetto or anything (despite what some may believe, me being half black and all). Just ever since I was a wee child whenever I've been outside at night and a car drives by there's always this fear in the back of my head that maybe they'll just start shooting... hahah yeah... I'm a little crazy I guess... ha
7. I love basketball!
It is hands down my favorite sport ever. Nothing else even comes close. I love playing basketball, watching basketball, I love everything basketball. I don't know, maybe it's just the black person inside of me coming out (though I definitely didn't get my love from my dad...he hates basketball... yes, that's right, he's not a real black person... haha) The sad thing is that I don't get to play it very much anymore. I used to play on a team as a child but then quit that after they started playing games on Sundays. And then I only played during church ball season. Oh goodness, I cannot even tell you how much I loved church ball...hahaha Spending all Saturday up at church just watching game after game all day, the best thing ever. But now that I am an old person I don't get to play church ball anymore, so basically I don't play very often anymore... which sucks buttmonkeys.
8. I plan on naming my child after my favorite book characters.
Yup, I'm one of those people. I would tell you the names I have planned but then you would get jealous and steal them. But lets just say that there might be real life Fred/George twins in the future... =]
9. I want to write novels when I grow up.
That's the plan anyways. Marry somebody super rich so I can lounge around all day writing and making millions off my bestseller books... haha jk. I'm gonna be holed up in some crappy apartment living off of ramen with my 50 dogs, trying desperately to convince people to read any of my books... sounds good to me hha
10. I really really like guys who wear nice shoes.
Annnnd I guess it doesn't hurt when they have on equally as nice clothing as well. Picture Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love, or Matt Bomer in White Collar. Perfection. But then again who doesn't like that?? Crazy people. That's who. No but seriously. I may or may not just scope out guys shoes all the time while I'm walking across campus... is that weird?? Oh well... hah
11. I've never broken a bone before.
Yeah... I was a very careful child/my dad would never let us do anything super risky, therefore, none of us have actually broken anything... I have had stitches though... Right on my chin. I don't remember how old I was... 7 maybe 8... I had just gotten out of the shower and somehow ended up slipping and cracking my chin on the floor... I was obviously a very bright child seeing as how it didn't occur to me to use my hands to break my minor slip and not my chin... but you know whatevs...
12. I actually really like Spiderman 3.
I don't care what anyone else says, I love it/am a proud owner. It is definitely my favorite of the two. Yes I know that it is terribly corny and just flat out bad, but I feel like there's a point when a movie is just so bad, it's wonderfully good. Spiderman 3 captures that perfectly. Oh and James Franco might have a little something to do with that.
13. I don't like talking to people I don't know...
I don't know maybe I just took the 'don't talk to strangers' rule a little bit too much to heart as a child, but I kinda actually really hate meeting new people. It's just awkward... at least for me.. I mean once we get past like the first initial few months of knowing each other, then we can be the best of friends, but meeting people for the first time?? It's the worst. hahaa Actually, I have been getting a lot better at making friends and talking to people and all the stuff that normal people do all the time without being too awkward about it... hahaa
14. I have a secret desire to be a stunt driver.
It would pretty much be the best job ever. I always loved the car commercials were they had the car doing all these crazy turns and stunts and everything, and then underneath it would be all like professional driver blah blah blah... How awesome would that be?? What could be better than getting to drive like a psychopath for a living?? When you meet people and they ask you what you do for a living you could be all like "I'm a professional driver aka I get to drive all types of cars 1000000000x faster than you could ever dream of." Seriously, how do you become a stunt driver?? I think I have just realized my calling.
15. I shaved my legs for the first time since the beginning of November the other day.
And it was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Haters gonna Hate. Annnnd that's all I have to say about that...
16. I am a closet video/computer game geek.
I know, I know, you would never be able to tell from just looking at me right?? hahah jk. The whole world probably knows and I just like to pretend that I'm fooling everybody. Seriously though, LOVE them! I'm not gonna lie I could easily play a video game all day/night if given the opportunity/have done just that an obscene number of times... My favorite games include the Civilization games (for the computer), Assassin's Creed, Zelda, COD/Nazi Zombies, Super Smash Bros, Sonic Adventure Battle 2, a thousand more and soon to be Skyrim. I have yet to play that one, but I know it's going to be a fave.
17. The thought of serving a mission kinda scares the crap out of me.
Don't get me wrong I am super excited about it and it is definitely still the plan, I'm just scared to death about it. It kinda ties back to the whole 'not liking to meet new people/talking to them thing'... which is basically the whole point of a mission... But you know hopefully I'll get over that pretty quickly... or at least that's the plan...
18. I get more emotional about over my fave tv shows/movies/books than real life.
Seriously, I really really cried about something that actually happens in my life, probably only every couple of years really, but as soon as I get emotionally attached to a tv show or movie or book and something even remotely sad happens I turn into a full on blubber baby. I cried at the end of Spiderman 3...both times I saw it in theaters. I am a mess during books, like the Hunger Games/Harry Potter. I even teared up while watching Rookie Blue aka a cop show. Who cries during a cop show?? Apparently I do. But did I cry when I had to leave all my friends and family a move halfway across the country to come out to college?? Nope. And yet I cry during things like Rookie Blue. Seriously. I am weird. haha
19. I really love my summer job at camp working with all the children.
It is one of my favorite things ever, and is something I look forward to all year round. I work at a day camp for the City of Florissant (where I am from) for 6 weeks during the summer. It's basically just a place for 6 to 12 year olds to go during the summer while there parents are at work so they won't get into any trouble/have someone to look at them. Basically I get paid to play with kids all summer. This coming summer will be my 3rd year there. My group my first year were the 8 year old boys and last year I had the 7 year old boys. I'm hoping to get the 6 year old boys this summer. They are just so precious. hahah Oh and this year Harrison will be working there too and Abby will be volunteering! It's going to be so much fun!!
20. When I was about 5 years old I sandpapered my nose.
I don't really know what was going on in my head when it happened, all I know is that I saw my dad sandpapering all this wood and stuff and it looked like fun, so I grabbed a piece and sandpapered the first thing I could think of...which was my nose apparently... I have a very distinct memory of bring the sandpaper to my face, but after that I have no idea what happened. I'm pretty sure I blocked it all out. I do know that I had a huge scab running the length of my nose forever though...hahaha
21. The Lord of the Rings movies are my favorite movies ever in the history of the world.
I could talk about those movies all day long. They are just so perfect, so beautiful, just everything about them is wonderful! The sets, the cast, the music! Just perfect.
22. Olan Rogers is my soul mate.
I know I have said this about other people in the past but I really mean it this time. He is perfect in every way and I am convinced that if we were to just meet once, even if it were for just a second, we would both fall madly in love and be married that second. If you don't know who he is you have not lived/you should go look him up this instant!
23. I would be perfectly content working in a bookstore for the rest of my life.
I know that's not very ambitious, I mean it's no stunt driving career, but it's true. I love books and to be able to work with them all the time, everyday would be the best thing ever. Ideally, I will somehow manage to get a job at Barnes and Noble this summer and work there until I leave on my mission...which is pretty much impossible, but a girl can dream right??
24. I kinda really really like zombies.
I really like zombie stories a lot...but I hate hate hate violence... kind of a conflict of interests... hahah but despite that I may or may not have a plan for when the zombie apocalypse happens and it may or may not involve taking over a Costco...
25. Dr. Who is the cleverest show I have ever seen.
It's pretty much without a doubt my favorite show, hands down. I have been super obsessed with it this semester. At first I wasn't really into it, I watched the first episode over Christmas Break and didn't like it very much, but then decided to give it another try and ended up watching all 6 seasons in a month... I haven't watched any of the older ones... which I know probably makes me not a true fan, but whatevs the new ones are good enough for me. You should definitely check it out sometime. It really is the best.
26. If I could have any super power it would be the ability to manipulate time.
I think that would just be the coolest thing ever! Not necessarily time travel (I'm waiting for the Doctor to show up for that), but like stopping time and stuff like that. Like that movie Clockstoppers. I always thought that was so awesome! You would be able to get so much done if you could stop time whenever you wanted. I think that super power would be a thousand times better than like flying or something lame like that... haha
27. I would be happy living by myself with a bunch of dogs.
Just call me the dog lady. I could never be a cat lady, but a dog lady. That would be divine. Maybe after I make all my millions writing books I'll just adopt a thousand dogs and live in a cottage by the sea that I can just sit around a read books all day. That doesn't sound too bad.
28. My dream car is a purple mustang.
I've wanted a mustang for as long as I can remember. And not one of those new ones... a 2002 Mustang GT. I've always loved those so much more than the newer models. And then like a year or two ago I was driving home from a midnight showing and I saw a PURPLE 2002 Mustang GT. It was perfect. I didn't even know that that was possible. It has basically been my dream ever since. I love purple, I love the mustang gts, why not put them together in perfect harmony. Seriously. It's gonna be the best when I get it someday...hahaha
29. The love potion in the 6th Harry Potter book would smell like Barnes and Noble and brown sugar.
The potion smells different for everybody, the things they find most desirable. And those are the things it would definitely smell like for me. I love the smell of books/Barnes and Noble/i guess just really any collection of books would do. And of course the brown sugar is always my favorite part of baking anything. It smells straight up like heaven.
30. I am an accomplished maker of pancakes.
This isn't really true, I just ran out of random facts about myself, but if you know what movie this is from you win!! That's right! Dan in Real Life! It's a pretty awesome movie. It will most definitely always hold a special place in my heart because it led me to Sondre Lerche. My favorite music artist ever. He does all the music for that movie and it is magic. Pure magic. I guess that probably should have been my last fact: I LOVE SONDRE! hahaha oh well
Well, I hope you enjoyed this little in depth look into my soul and if you actually read all of that kudos to you, cuz I probably wouldn't have... hahaha anyway... hope you are having an awesome day! =]

Wanderlust
Do you ever feel like just doing something crazy??
Something just completely new, and strange and exciting?
Like just packing up and driving off and not looking back until you find what you're looking for...
I don't know...maybe I'm being over dramatic or whatever... I guess I've just been feeling kind of...stuck.
I just don't want to end up with a job I hate, or married with kids without having done...something in my life.
Don't get me wrong, I really really want those things (maybe not so much the hating my job one, but you know, having a job, being married, having kids), I want them a lot.
I need to find myself before I do any of that though.
I know, I know, this is all very angsty young adult of me, but it's true.
I don't understand how I am expected to know what I want to do with the rest of my life, when I don't even really know what I really enjoy doing...
I've been spending thousands and thousands of dollars to go to school for essentially nothing, since I don't have a major yet, which, when I think about it, makes absolutely no sense to me.
I mean its been fun, but there hasn't been a point.
I am $11,000 dollars in debt and all I have to show for it is random knowledge about Prometheus and Craftsman style homes.
And now you are probably thinking, "just choose something then", but that I feel like would most definitely lead to the job I hate with all my soul, something I plan on avoiding if possible.
I don't even know what I'm saying anymore... like I said I've just been feeling like I just want to go, get out, drop off the map, meet new people (which if you know anything about me is super scary, cuz I hate meeting new people haha), do whatever.
I think this is one of the many reasons I have decided to serve a mission.
At the very least it will be new, and challenging, and exciting, not to mention all the spiritual growth that usually comes along with a mish.
I don't know, I hope I haven't bored you too much with my angstiness and ramblings.
Have an AWESOME day! =]

Is it too much to ask for???
Seriously, all I want is a guy that will make me mixed cds full of awesome music, watch Lord of the Rings with me all day long, and occasionally make out. I don't think that's asking for too much is it?? oh! and let me call him beefy cake huns... =]

i love olan rogers.
truth.
you should go look him up on youtube.
your life will be transformed.

year in review
alright, i realize that i am a horrible person. i accept this. it has been exactly 5 billion years since i've blogged about anything, and i dont think that i could ever apologize enough. and i left you during a 30 day challenge no less! but my one year of blogging mark is coming up, and i cannot miss that! i have already done something i told myself i would never do, completely not blog anything during a month, aka this past novemeber, but i am not going to miss out on blogging about my one year anniversary of blogging awesomeness! now for you hardcore fans out there you might realize that the actual one year anniversary of my 'first post eva...' is on dec. 13th. but seeing as how that is directly in the middle of my crazy 'take 6 finals in 2 days' finals week, i probably will not be posting then.... so we're gonna celebrate early!
so yeah! it was a year ago exactly (lets pretend, it sounds better) that i decided to start a blog; mostly for my mother so she could creep on my life, and partly cuz i was tired of having all these witty things running through my head all the time with no one to tell. haha so i started my blog not really expecting anything, not even really expecting to really use it but it turned out to be superohmegaawesome, at least in my eyes. =]
despite the long droughts of nothingness i actually blogged a lot more than i thought i would (92 posts! almost 100! hahaa) and found that i really enjoyed it, and apparently other people enjoyed it as well. as you can see over there on the right i have 12 official followers, which i am very proud of/love with all my heart. dont worry, i know there are those of you who creep on me unofficially as well, dont worry i love you too! (but i would love you more if you felt the need to join that list of people over there, which would be awesome...hint hint...hahah) =] oh and probably my greatest achievement concerning my blog would be that my most popular post has over 300 views! 300! the next most popular has 29...hahah. but im pretty sure the credit for that goes to matt lewis and his sexy self. =]
but yeah basically that's whats happened to my blog this past year. what about me do you ask?? well lets see, last year i was just a little college freshman who knew nothing about life (julian smith was my favorite youtuber for goodness sake!), and now i am a college sophomore (please no comments jessica) who still knows pretty much nothing about life ( i have however discovered the love of my life in the form of olan rogers, who is about 13928923743892769436372984y32894783092 trillion times funnier than julian). no but in all seriousness this past year has been pretty awesome. i made some friends that i will hopefully have for the rest of my life, i grew in my love for children (nothing creepy about this statement. i ma simply referring to the awesome time i had at camp this summer), and my best friend is about to be baptized! basically awesome. thats not to say that there weren't any rough times. i my soul was pretty much taken hostage by pinterest rendering me basically a vegetable for a good majority of the summer, and sometimes still (good or bad thing?? still cant tell sometimes), all my friends have been sucked into that friend-sucker-upper also known as the MTC, and i still only have vague ideas about what i want to do with my life, major/career wise. but honestly, who doesn't have these problems??
but now for the part that i am most excited for.... the futureeeeeeeee. what does this next year hold in store for me?? well, let me tell you it is pretty much kind of super awesome! (fun fact, it took me like 6 tries to spell that word right for some reason.... sometimes i feel as though college makes me dumber... haha) anyways so the life plan for the next year. are you ready for it?? here it goes:
this coming winter semester at BYU will be my last for a while, like for 2, 2 1/2ish years. why do you ask?? well, you see in less than a month i will be 20 years old (!!!!! i know right!!!) which means that i will then only have a year until i am 21....aka a year until i can go on a mission. which is what i am going to be doing. i am going to go on a mission!!!! for those of you who might not know what a mission for my church is, it's basically spending 2 years, or for girls aka me, 18 months, teaching the gospel. So basically i will be living away from home, with no personal cell phone, facebook, music that i love with all my soul, talking to strangers about the church all day for 18 months. weird right?? hahah anyways, what does this have to do with me leaving BYU so soon since i have a year until i will be able to go on a mission? well missions are kind of super expensive and i am broke. so i will be living at home for free and working all next summer and fall semester, and maybe even the whole school year next year to save enough money cuz right now i have nothing. haha but i am so excited! it is going to be weird not being at BYU with everybody and just the thought of a mission kinda scares me to death but i am really excited about my decision to go and can't wait to start working on making it happen.
so well yeah, thats just a little summary of everything thats happened this past year/ a little sneak peak into my future. im kinda excited for next december to see how this coming year plays out, and how many more followers i have (hint hint: follow me please! haha =]) and hopefully i will do better at posting this year. i do have some good posts in the works though that im excited about (probably the best movie monday you have ever seen =] so get excited! haha). but yeah, hope you are doing awesome, sorry about being the biggest bum that has ever existed in the history of the world, and hope finals week goes well for those of you that have those nasty things! peace and blessings, peace and blessings.

Alrighty, well those are my ten randomly pulled songs from my ipod! do you feel like you know me more intimately?? hahahaha i kinda hope not cuz i feel like if you were going to judge me from a group of songs, a lot of those would not be on the list that i would pick. but oh well. hope you are having a good night or day or whatever you want. =]

dayyyyy threeeeee
okie dokie! well first off i have to apologize for missing a couple of days... i have been super busy/sick/just lazy the past 2 days and that is unacceptable. but look! i pushed the dates back on the posts and made it look like i never missed a day! yay for magic and cheating! ok well anyways, day numbero drei: your views on drugs and alcohol.
ok well wow. it's getting into some pretty serious stuff i guess. my views on drugs and alcohol? well obviously(we have a rapist in lincoln park) drugs and alcohol are bad. we've all learned this since we were like what? 2 seconds old?? yeah. while i have never been schwasted or high like a kite before, i do know plenty of people who have and i feel no judgment towards them. if they want to fill their bodies with nastiness and kill their brain cells and be perpetually starving and drink crap that makes them puke their guts out and feel like boo boo the whole next day, thats fine with me. that is a-ok. i would totes never do it though. it kinda sounds like a form of torture.
however. there are situations when i do and plan on partaking in drugs. during period parties for example. ibuprofen is my life during these week long torture fests. during childbirth is another situation. I am going to practically have them knock me out with drugs during this little joy of life. and if ever there were a time that i did do actual drugs/alcohol it would be during these to escape the pain/torture. ( hahaha jk jk, but no that would be awesome right? hahaha jk) but i kind of find it funny how both these things kinda have to do with the same thing.... i think its a sign that if these things can drive a person to contemplate turning to drugs then there is something wrong with the system. i mean seriously who's idea was it to make it so that women would be stuck for life with debilitating pain that has the potential to turn into pushing a practically full grown human being out of their own bodies??? yeah i feel like there is something majorly wrong with that...
oh and another time when drugs are a must: having your wisdom teeth pulled. this is hopefully going to happen to me in the near future seeing as my wisdom teeth are currently trying to catapult out of my head. annd really the only thing that is going to make the experience of then slicing open my mouth and cutting my teeth out of my skull is the fact that i am going to tell them to drug me up so much that i will hopefully be straight loopy afterwards. expect videos. =] hahaha i am so excited for that!
anyways so yeah basically illegal drugs are bad. hugs not drugs. water not beer. stay in school. remember who you are. and peace and blessings, peace and blessings.

DAY TEWWWWOOOOOOOO! =]
alrighty! day two of the totally awesome 30 day blogging challenge! are you guys ready?? cuz i know i am! lets see what's in store for today...: where do you see yourself in 10 years?
ok well, im not gonna lie you guys, i think this is a pretty lameeee question. for some reason it's taking me back to 5th grade...i think they asked us the same question then....and oh yeah, every year since then. if i had kept track of all the where i see myself in 10 years i have done every single year since then, i would have my whole life neatly mapped out before me... that would be nice. hahaha i think though, back in 5th grade, i'm pretty sure i said like living in utah or something lamee and totally mormon like that so im pretty much on the golden path so far. rad! hahaha
anyways, 10 years from now. today, October 11, 2011. so what would that be? Oct. 11, 2021?? well dang, doesn't that sound all futuristic and what not. haha anyways so I will be 29, almost 30 years old...!!!! oh my.... that's quite an age... like 3 full whole decades! im just barely getting used to being around almost 2..... dang... idunno what i'm going to have done by then, though hopefully by then i will own a flying car and one of those microwaves that zap up full meals out of the sky. that'd be cool. i think i would quite enjoy flying around in my little flyingmoblie. or maybe someone will have discovered how to actually disapperate/apperate by then and i wont even need a flying car! yeah now that would be awesome!
no but seriously. i see myself in 10 years with my millions, that either i acquired myself with my stunning career, or you know married into with my fabulously wealthy (and bearded) husband. we will live in a mansion in utah (keeping in line with my 5th grade self, thats important) that we built with our raw bear hands, and by then would have adopted a couple of children from the romainian orphanages as well as have had a couple billion children ourselves since by then of course they dont use needles during childbirth and came up with a way that they just kind of teleport the child from inside your body to cradled in your arms. and our lives will be wonderfully wonderful. and on October 11, 2021 my husband and i will be contacted by movie producers who will want to make a movie of our wonderfully successful lives to show others the type of pure awesomeness that is possible in this life.
so um yeah. i think that basically sums up what i see happening in my life in 10 years, and im not gonna lie, im pretty dang excited! i am going to have quite the life. dont worry, maybe if you ask nicely i'll let you be in the movie about my life, so keep your fingers crossed! hahahahaha oh gosh. anyways, i hope your day is going fabulous and much better than mine so far. and i hope that each one you end up with a future as bright and promising and exactly like mine! (unless of course you are a male in which case you will marry a fabulously wealthy, beardless wifey). peace and blessings peace and blessings! =]
ok well, im not gonna lie you guys, i think this is a pretty lameeee question. for some reason it's taking me back to 5th grade...i think they asked us the same question then....and oh yeah, every year since then. if i had kept track of all the where i see myself in 10 years i have done every single year since then, i would have my whole life neatly mapped out before me... that would be nice. hahaha i think though, back in 5th grade, i'm pretty sure i said like living in utah or something lamee and totally mormon like that so im pretty much on the golden path so far. rad! hahaha

30 day blog challenge! here we go! DAY ONE =]
so ive decided to do a 30 day blog challenge on here. so basically if i succeed i will be blogging about random things on here for at least 30 days straight! aren't you excited!? i know i am! hahah anywayyyys so this is day one: your current relationship. if single, discuss how single life is.
i think it would be safe to say based on previous posts on here that i am single (no one has come up proclaiming their desire to be called beefy cake huns yet... surprising i know...). so yeah how is single life going?? well it's going.... just trudgin along like always. it would be nice to have a beefy cake huns, but obviously my standards for my point system are just too high (major points, aka a necessity, if he has a beard, but i mean this is byu we're talking about... aka no one has a beard sadly...) so ummmm yeah....
well obviously, this 30 day challenge thing is off to a great start. really some interesting and moving stuff here.... so um yeah tune in tomorrow hopefully if i havent tossed this out the window by then for day 2!!! whooooo! yeah! should be exciting! =] anyways... sorry this was super lamee... i just feel like i've kinda already explained my views on single livin (see beefy cake huns post below) so yeah... hopefully these things will get better...till then peace and blessings, peace and blessings! =]

ok seriously, have you ever been on pinterest? no? what is pinterest you ask? basically it is heaven in website form for those people who like to pretend that they are crafty, and creative, and witty and home improvey and artsy, when really all they do is sit on pinterest all day pinning awesome things to their awesome boards. hahaaha annnnd seeing as how i actually AM all those things, its the perfect website for me. haahahah no but seriously i have been addicted to this website since over the summer. its basically a website where everybody has online bulletin boards that they can "pin" different things that they find over the internet that they like to, and share it with everybody else on the website. aka it is sheer awesomeness! here i'll give you a little preview so you can see for your self just how awesome it is and know that your life depends on you getting a pinterest. right now i have 12 boards. I'll give you a preview of with the first 3 things i have pinned in my favorite ones. enjoy! =]
my boards:

ohhh byu...
so apparently, according to my human development teacher, 30 to 40% of the girls here at byu have an eating disorder, as in anorexia/bulimia... lets think about that for a second. almost half of the female population here are crazy psychopaths who starve themselves/shove crap down their throats to make themselves puke their guts out on a regular basis... no wonder being here makes me hate myself so much. hhahaa no but knowing this does kinda makes me feel slightly better about myself, ish... i mean i know that i could/should most def lose weight, but at least im not a crazy chick eating nothing but the occasional cube of cheese every couple of weeks. obviously it would be impossible to look like half of these girls walking around on campus because i seem to be unable to get rid of my love of food, no matter how hard i try... oh well, if anything, this has taught me that the goal should be to be healthy and not a super skinny stick figure.... oh! and this probably also has to do with the fact that every single person here in provo runs every second of the day, which honestly makes me exhausted just thinking about it... hahaha anyways, hope your life is going well and that you aren't surrounded by starving girls 24/7! =] peace and blessings, peace and blessings.

is a gentleman with a brostache invited to this party??
new school year means a new stache/beard count. and let me just say i have some good feelings about this year. i have a feeling that this will be the year of the beard card. hahaha anyways, apparently, there was/is this reenactment of Jesus's time going on or something like that so they needed volunteers for guys to grow beards to be jewish in it, aka the number of beards on campus, dramatically increased. annnnnd as of today the beards are winning! =D yayayay hahah the count stands at beards: 11 staches: 8. which is pretty crazy considering for most of last year the staches were in the lead. but just so the staches dont get down on their luck i've decided to through in a little stache humor to boost their spirits, because honestly when it comes to humor staches trump beards every time. hahah enjoy!

currently accepting applications for a beefy cake huns...
aka a boyfriend. i've been here for over a month and i think it's about time to have a boyfriend. i dont think thats too much to ask for, do you?? now i realize that some may be deterred by the name beefy cake huns, but what can i say i love it. hahaha jessica doesn't want to believe that i would actually call my boyfriend that, but however, it is true/totes gonna happen. kinda like how im gonna have my children call my mom and dad grandmamma and grandpapa. hahaha my mother sitll hasn't accepted that one, but she will when she sees how adorable it is hahah =]
but yeah currently accepting applications. so if you want to be my boyfriend just walk on up to me and be all like "hey lets be boyfriend and girlfriend" or "hey im the beefy cake huns you're lookin for". yeah if you want double the chance of being accepted somehow incorporate beefy cake huns into your delivery. you cant go wrong with that. hahaha
oh and you are all probably wondering where all this "beefy cake huns" came from. well, it came from my good friend olan rogers... now if you really want to be accepted just look/act like olan, or you know just be him for on the spot acceptance. hahah anyways yeah i was watching this video of his the other day and i just died and decided right then and there that i would forever call my boyfriend (whenever he shows up...) beefy cake huns hahahaha hope you enjoy it/make it through to the beefy cake huns part, seeing as he can be a little overwhelming... hahahah peace and blessing, peace and blessings. oh! and dont forget to turn in those applications! hahaaha

pottermorepottermorepottermorepottermorepottermorepottermorepottermorepottermore
in case you didnt already know, I FINALLY GOT INTO POTTERMORE!! seriously. it only took like 5 billion years.oh and i got my welcome email on a sunday right be i had to leave for church, so i got my email and then had to wait 3 hours before i could get onto pottermore. it was horrible! hahaa but i finally made it on! The website it pretty awesome, but really the two main things that i've been waiting my whole life for is getting my wand and getting sorted into a house.
it took me like 5 seconds to get through pottermore to olivander's shop i was so excited to get my wand! Annnnnd here it is!! in all it's glory!!
hahaha sorry its such a crappy picture, but there it is! 10 3/4 in, unicorn core and yew wood! So basically a unicorn hair core means that the wand is very loyal to its original owner and its the hardest type of wand to turn to the dark side. oh and it's the core that ron's wand has! what what!! =] hahaha as for the wood, yew is pretty rare and super good at curses. they also tend to be the wands most drawn to the dark arts (basically, my wand is a juicy contradiction hahaha) oh and did i mention that voldemort's wand was made out of yew?? how BA is that??? hahaha needless to say i am pretty darn happy with my wand =]
so yeah i got my wand and was pretty happy about that and then promptly moved on to bigger and better things and before i knew it i was about to start the sorting ceremony... let me try to explain something... the first time i read harry potter i was 8 years old. i got a paperback of the sorcerer's stone as a gift for my baptism. i am almost 20 now. i have been waiting to be sorted into a house for 11, almost 12 years. that is more than half my life. i cannot explain to you how excited it was for this! but im not gonna lie i was also extremely nervous... what house was i gonna be in??? i knew which house i was hoping that i would be in, ravenclaw of course. now im not trying to be all like "of course i should be in ravenclaw! i'm soooooo smart!!" yeah it's not like that, ravenclaw was just the best fit. i also knew for sure which house i didnt want to be in, gryffindor. seriously, sitting there answering questions, being sorted, i couldn't repeat "not gryffindor" enough times in my head. why you ask?? why wouldn't i want to be in harry potter's house?? the answer is simple, because it's harry potter's house. idunno, i just felt like everyone wanted to be in gryffindor cuz it was the golden trio's house and blah blah blah blah. ughh. hhaha also it didn't really fit, i dont like to be the center of attention. i would've been fine being in hufflepuff or slytherin, i like those two, except hufflepuff is where all the losers go...(hahahah jk jk) but yeah pretty much i was a mess answering the questions that came straight from Jo herself. but in the end i got.....
seriously, i could not be more happy! i always knew i was a ravenclaw and finally it is official!! hahaah it's probably one of the greatest things ever! pretty much my life is complete =] pretty much me and loony luna are bff forever and ever hahaha but yeah no if you guys haven't checked out pottermore, it is most def worth it. you get to brew potions and duel people and earn house points, its just great. haah i think it opens up to the public late october, so seriously, go check it out as soon as you can =] and make sure you get voted into ravenclaw so you can hang out with me and luna! hahaah =]

Movie Monday FOUR!!
HAPPY MONDAY!! how was your weekend?? good i hope? annnd i hope that your monday is going just as well. i have a few minutes before i have to leave for class so i thought that i'd squeeze in a movie monday real fast and show you guys some new vids that are recently my favorites. i know it feels like i just did a movie monday like 4ish posts ago, but that was like a thousand years ago and i really have some new good videos to share with you guys!! i hope you find them as good and uplifting and just plain funny as i do! =]
Moments that Matter Most- i have been obsessed with this video ever since my biology teacher showed it to us a few weeks ago as a spiritual thought before class. seriously i really love it a lot! annnd it goes perfectly with President Uchtdorf's talk this past saturday during the Relief Society General Conference!
Speak Like Kristen Stewart- madison showed me this next video, and let me tell you it is hilarious! and so true! that girl playing kristen stewart deserves an oscar! she is perfect! hahahaha Thanks K Stew!! =]
Pizza is Murder- this video features julian smith, who used to be the love of my life until he stopped making funny videos and started making lame ones, but thankfully this video wasn't made by him so it's funny! haha seriously i wish he would make his new videos as funny as his old ones again!
How Harry Potter Should Have Ended- i love these things! you should most def check out the site and have some good laughs!
Snape Realizes the Candles are Floating- another harry potter one, i've been a little obsessed lately which i guess is acceptable since i finally got my pottermore email yesterday (that blog post will be coming soon). but i have been obsessed with this video in particular forever. seriously ask jessica, i watch it a couple times a day. it's just so darn funny! hahaha
Love Sparks- this is a video done by probably my favorite youtube person/just person in general ever. Olan Rogers. seriously i love him. i know i say that a lot about guys on youtube, but my love for him surpasses all of them (including the love i had for julian smith, which is saying something). we may or may not have a small shine of pictures of him on out wall, jess and i love him so much... hahhaha anyways this is definitely not the first time one of his vids have been on here. go check out some of his other ones on youtube, his dare on dare videos are probably my favorite. but this one is different, not funny, but just awesome and i love it! haha
Night Vision Binoculars- out last video is actually a song. a song that has quickly become the theme song of mine and jessica's lives. we may or may not play it every single day despite the complete creepiness of it. and let me tell you, it is creepy. hahaha i heard it on pandora the other day and just had to show jessica and we both fell in love with it and now proudly own it. dont judge. haters gon hate.

sign language
so there's this new show on tv, or well i guess it's not on tv right now, it's in that weird mid season break thing, but anyways.... there's this new show called switched at birth and i am pretty much obsessed with it! pretty much its about these two girls who are switched as babies in the hospital and given to wrong families and grow up not knowing it but then everyone finds out when they are like 16. BUTTT the cool part of the show is the fact that one of the girls is deaf so there is like buttloads of sign language in the show! which is so totally awesome!! it's pretty much renewed my love for sign language!
i was going to take a sign language class with jessica this semester but it didn't fit into our schedules, but you can count on it happening winter semester! annnnd madison will hopefully take it with us too! so pretty much we're going to be able to talk to each other without anyone else knowing what we are saying, which will pretty much be the best thing that has ever happened to at least me and jessica! haha anyways but yeah you should totally check out Switched at Birth if you're into pointless drama and super cool sign language usage, it's pretty much the best thing ever! hahaha peace and blessings, peace and blessings. =]

hey there again...
so um yeah...sorry it's been so long since i've blogged. oh well it happens right?? but anyways so i was all determined to blog today and all excited and sat down at my computer and cant really come up with anything... I have a whole lists of posts that i've been meaning to blog about but apparently im just not feeling any of them at the moment.....um lets seeeee. ok i'll write about the creamery, which isnt on the list but whatevs... sorry for being so lamee.
so anyways i am currently employed at the BYU Creamery on 9th East as a restaurant team member. if you remember from last winter semester i was the grill closer/cleaning slave there working 6 hours a week, so you would think that this would be a step up right?? yes and no sadly.
Pros:
1. i actually talk to people and have friends at work which is pretty fun. as much as i like to be antisocial, it gets lonely sometimes and it's nice to have friends right?? hahaha oh and it's nice to actually meet new people i can add on facebook it boost my friend count, cuz thats all that really matters right?? =]
2. i now work 12 hours a week, instead of 6. so yeah that pretty cool. more hours, more monies. thats always enjoyable.
3. i dont have to slave away cleaning the grill anymore. instead i get to cook on the grill and scoop ice cream, which is my favorite thing to do, which is kinda weird cuz you actually have to talk to the customers, i guess i'm slowly becoming less antisocial. hahah no but really it's just nice not to come home every night smelling like grease and killed animals and cleaning chemicals....
4. there are so many hotttaayyyys that come into the creamery for ice cream! and i'm not gonna lie there are a few cuties who work there too, so pretty much its just win win all around. haha =]
5. i got a 10 cent raise from last semester, i now make 7.35 an hour! i know super great right?? ha
Cons:
1. i only work 12 hours a week. i know that's a bump up from the 6 hours last winter semester but, compared to the 50/60 hours a week i was working over the summer, it's just a little bit to get used to... dont get me wrong i love not working that much, it's just i loved the money i was getting more... haha
2. i still have to wear that nasty hat. i have to wear like a baseball cap as part of my uniform, it's that or an old lunch lady hairnet. last year it wasnt that bad i would just pull my hair up in a ponytail and go, but this year my hair is too short for that... so now pretty much i have to make sure i come to work with a thousand bobby pins so i can some how get my hair up in a semi decent looking updo... haha
3. instead of coming home smelling like grease, i come home covered in ice cream. well at least on the days that i work ice cream, which i try to make that like every time. but yeah pretty much i always end up covered up to my elbows in ice cream, which isnt that big of a deal, but it's kinda sticky... hahaha
4. i have to walk to work. last semester i worked at 9, left at 8:59 and got there on time. now i have to leave like a thousand hours early to get there five minutes early so i have time to put my hair up... seriously i have been walking everywhere this year, which is good right?? just exhausting....
5. i only got a 10 cent raise, which means i am only making 7.35 an hour, working 12 hours a week... you do the math... maybe for everyone else out here that's enough, with all their scholarships and richness, but seriously that sucks when it comes to me. but hey at least i have a job right? could be worse.
6. oh and i might have gotten carpel tunnel from all the scooping of the ice cream, but no biggie...
so yeah that's pretty much my job. some parts of it suck, but honestly i kinda really like working there. it's a pretty fun job with lots of fun people. ok well, i think thats enough blogging for today... hopefully i'll keep up with it this time.... peace and blessings, peace and blessings.

1. i only work 12 hours a week. i know that's a bump up from the 6 hours last winter semester but, compared to the 50/60 hours a week i was working over the summer, it's just a little bit to get used to... dont get me wrong i love not working that much, it's just i loved the money i was getting more... haha
2. i still have to wear that nasty hat. i have to wear like a baseball cap as part of my uniform, it's that or an old lunch lady hairnet. last year it wasnt that bad i would just pull my hair up in a ponytail and go, but this year my hair is too short for that... so now pretty much i have to make sure i come to work with a thousand bobby pins so i can some how get my hair up in a semi decent looking updo... haha
3. instead of coming home smelling like grease, i come home covered in ice cream. well at least on the days that i work ice cream, which i try to make that like every time. but yeah pretty much i always end up covered up to my elbows in ice cream, which isnt that big of a deal, but it's kinda sticky... hahaha
4. i have to walk to work. last semester i worked at 9, left at 8:59 and got there on time. now i have to leave like a thousand hours early to get there five minutes early so i have time to put my hair up... seriously i have been walking everywhere this year, which is good right?? just exhausting....
5. i only got a 10 cent raise, which means i am only making 7.35 an hour, working 12 hours a week... you do the math... maybe for everyone else out here that's enough, with all their scholarships and richness, but seriously that sucks when it comes to me. but hey at least i have a job right? could be worse.
6. oh and i might have gotten carpel tunnel from all the scooping of the ice cream, but no biggie...
so yeah that's pretty much my job. some parts of it suck, but honestly i kinda really like working there. it's a pretty fun job with lots of fun people. ok well, i think thats enough blogging for today... hopefully i'll keep up with it this time.... peace and blessings, peace and blessings.
